How to Take Levitra ®
Take one Levitra ® tablet approximately one hour (60 minutes) prior to sexual activity. Take Levitra ® with or without food. In order for an erection to occur there must be some sexual stimulation.
Side Effects
Common side effects associated with Levitra ®: headaches, runny or stuffy nose and flushing. Additionally, if your erection lasts longer than 4 hours then you must get medical help immediately. In very rare cases Levitra ® has been associated with changes in vision, including a noticeable blue tinge as and difficulty distinguishing between green and blue colors.
Precautions
Prior to taking Levitra ®, inform your physician or healthcare professional of any heart problems (such as irregular heartbeats, heart failure, angina) or any other health conditions including uncontrolled low or high blood pressure, the need for dialysis, retinitis pigmentosa (rare genetic eye disease), kidney ailments, liver issues, previous strokes, stomach (peptic) ulcers, problems with bleeding, abnormal curvature of the penis (Peyronie's disease), prolonged or painful erections (priapism), blood cell issues such as multiply myeloma, sickle cell anemia or leukemia.
Drug Interactions
Inform your online physician of all prescription and over the counter medications you are taking, especially "nitrates". If you take alpha blocker medicines or use recreational drugs that are typically called "poppers" (like butyl nitrate and amyl nitrate) do not take Levitra ®.
Storage
Keep Levitra ® at room temperature, 59 - 86 degrees Fahrenheit (15 - 30 degrees Celsius), away from moisture and light. Keep Levitra ®, as well as all prescription medications, away from areas children can reach.
Notes
Never share Levitra ® as it could produce an adverse reaction in individuals who have not been prescribed this medication. Levitra ® should only be taken under the direction of a Physician. Levitra ® does not guard against STDs such as the HIV virus, Hepatitis B, herpes, syphilis and gonorrhea.
