Additional Information for Purchasing Chantix®
Chantix® is typically prescribed in 12 week regiments, though your physician may define an alternate treatment schedule for you. The purchase options below allow you to order each 4 week cycle individually or, if you prefer, the 1st or 2nd Full Regiment as a single purchase.
4 Week Starter Kit
This is the treatment package for the first 4 weeks of the 12 week program. The 4 Week Starter Kit contains 53 tablets (11 white .5mg tablets and 42 blue 1mg tablets).
Treatment:
Days 1-3: take one white .5mg tablet once daily
Days 4-7: take one white .5mg table twice daily
Days 8-28: take one blue 1mg table twice daily
4 Week Continuation Pack
This is the treatment package for the second 4 weeks or third 4 weeks of the 12 week program. The 4 Week Continuation Pack contains 56 tablets (56 blue 1mg tablets).
Treatment:
Days 29-57: take one blue 1mg tablet twice daily
Days 58-86: take one blue 1mg tablet twice daily
8 Week Continuation Pack
This is the treatment package for the second 4 week cycle and the third 4 week cycle of the first 12 week program. The 8 Week Continuation Pack contains 112 tablets (112 blue 1mg tablets), a 60 day supply.
Treatment:
Days 29-86: take one blue 1mg tablet twice daily
1st Full Regimen
This is the treatment package for the full 12 week program. The 1st Full Regimen contains 165 tablets (11 white .5mg tablets and 154 blue 1mg tablets), a 12 week supply.
Treatment:
Days 1-3: take one white .5mg tablet once daily
Days 4-7: take one white .5mg table twice daily
Days 8-86: take one blue 1mg table twice daily
2nd Full Regimen
This is the treatment package for a second 12 week program. Patients who have successfully stopped smoking at the end of the 1st Full Regiment are recommended to continue for an additional 12 weeks to further increase the likelihood of long-term smoking cessation. The 2nd Full Regiment contains 168 tablets (168 blue 1mg tablets), a 12 week supply.
Treatment:
Days 87-173: take one blue 1mg tablet twice daily
